E.J. Tackett and Ryan Barnes had such dominating seasons for their respective awards that logic would tell you they might win unanimous votes for 2025 PBA Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year. But that’s just not how these votes typically work: Someone will come up with reasoning that produces a different vote, or someone might make a sentimental vote knowing there is a near-zero chance anyone other than Tackett and Barnes win.
